Hello BatFriends, I'm here with an all new, the first 2021 SHOW SNIPPETS!!!! I got to go see Dematus play at Crafthouse Stage & Grill, of course DI Records was in the house!! Seriously, these amazing humans ROCK in all aspects.. Check out the snippets of their set here!! This is such an exciting occasion for me, I really didn't think I was quite ready for a show but at the same time I was. Anyways I finally got to check out The Crafthouse and I obviously pulled out my camera to kick myself back into making content. (although I totally forgot all the video and audio settings I used to use - think it turned out pretty okay). Happy Monday!!!! A new music annoucment for you all, Seethe dropped a new single on the 12th called "Beg" you should check it out!! "Beg" reaches into the pschyosis of a suicidal indivuatial and their conversation with the angel of death. This song kicks off Seeth's album "Departues" it the individual screaming out on the inside for help but has closed themselves off from the world, falling into a distorted state of conciousness. So watch this video and take a listen to the nune tune!! My message to you is if you are an indivual struggling with suicial thoughts, please reach out. I am here, the music scene is here, music brings us together in many ways, and helps us to not feel or be alone. Yo, Yo, You, Yo! Get to Know, Dancing with Ghosts with Mr. Bones and I! DWG is a DIY duo from Florida and part of the DI Records family!! They have gnarly way of blending and transitioning to and from a vast variety of genera's and styles! DWG aesthetic synthesizes all sounds and styles within the “alterative” categories with heavy 80s vibes and beyond!! They use such differing styles and elements though out each song It is tricky to list them all, you will just have to listen and see what you hear! But what I would call it is DEMONIC ELECTRONIC!!! DWG are incredibly intelligent, creative and talented. Their DIY skills are insane, to create every aspect of their own music videos; from characters, costumes, make- up, effects, locations, etc. Is incredible and how well they pull it off we are in WOW! They’ve fully created cinematic like experience with their themes of horror and a post-apocalyptic world. With that experience of course alongside their tubular jams it really lets listeners to be fully immersed in those worlds they have created. So, watch us chatting about all of that and more!!! What's rockin' rockers!! We have a kick ass team reaction video for you with THE HELLFREAKS one of the DI Records Music Mania 2 Finalist!! We loved them so much we reacted to 3 of their music videos. I would also have to say they are one of my new favorite bands, I don't know how I hadn't listened to them before! Literally everything about The Hellfreaks are awesome: their music, their fashion, their story, the music videos like 100 out of 100 they are doing everything right! So watch along with Mr. Bones, The Witherow Diaries (+ her hubby), and I! I think we had a really great discussuion and its awesome that we have eachother to watch with because we all notice different aspects of the videos and it makes for a even better reaction/review! I know this one is a bit long and the next one is pretty long too, but I hope you all are enjoying the longer form videos. Short ones will be coming soon too, now that I have a new laptop and an edit booth at home! Next up is the Team interview with Dancing with Ghosts and then Finally I will be putting together a snippets. The 412nes Team is back at it again with a reaction to the DI Records Music Mania 2's Finalist UltraViolent's official music video "Insult to Injury"!! It was our first of the reaction videos so we (mostly me) are a little awkward and Zoom is kind of a pain in the butt, but it was a fun video chat! "Insult to Injury" is a super rad music jam and video so definitely check it out! I'll link the music video so you can either watch it before, during, or after this video! It plays through the first time without us talking and then we chat a bit and watch it again! What's rockin' everyone!! Check out the first of the DI Records Music Mania 2's Finalist videos, the winners Aurora.in.Peril from North Bay, ON!!! We got to sit down and chat (over Zoom) all about the band, their label Ego and Pessimism Records, and what winning Music Mania has done for them. Dakota Horbaczek of DI Records also joined in on the zoom call and we talked about what DI Records is all about as well as the inspiration behind Music Mania. Also, stick around for me being a total weirdo at the end. I was home alone, in a silly weird mood, and really didn't think I would edit any of it into the video! But I thought it was funny when working on it, so threw it on there if anyone wants to stick around for that part. This video took quite a while as I'm sure you all know, I kept posting the work progress! We filmed it a full month ago but I hope the wait and all the time put into it was worth it! I need just one day a week or every other week completely dedicated to editing and or filming but its been a bit crazy to do that, also every time I plan that day it doesn't happen. What's rockin' 412ners!!! I have a special video for you all; and I know many of you have been waiting in anticipation for it. I've been working on it for the past few weeks and of course got carried away with adding in archive footage, b-roll, and little details so you're not just looking at us talking the whole time, and just because that's what I always do! Anyways it is finally ready!!! I am introducing you to some of the 412nes team; they may look a bit familiar to you if you are in the Pittsburgh music scene or if you have followed me (Trish) for a while. Drum roll please........ I would like to meet Barbara Witherow of The Witherow Diaries and Ben Smiley of Mr. Bones !! DI Records and I asked them to join in on the team a few months back but since we haven't been able to get together it took a bit longer than planned but we found a way to start working together and met up on Zoom for a team chat and I pieced it together for you all so you can get to know them. We talk about who they are, what they do, their own social media brands, how each of us met, personal/412nes goals, and what we will be working on together! If you are new to 412nes, this will help give an idea of what 412nes is all about. And if you are a fan of 412nes it's a great recap of what I've done so far and what we as a team are going to be doing!
